Downloadable Artillery Forms

Through much field experience and research I have come up with some forms to help us as American Civil War reenactors to give a better impression on the field, and maybe be a little more organized. The forms are PDF files so you will need Adobe Acrobat Reader to view them. All forms except the Morning Report form are specific to Artillery.

To download, right click on the link and select “save target as”.

*Q-Cards – Commands from “1864 Field Artillery Tactics” written out in an easy to read format, even while marching. Includes diagrams.

*Company Morning Parade – Ok, this one I made up. I couldn’t find anything specifically on a company parade (plenty on battalion parade) so I made one up based on what I could find. In place of the roll call I have the gunners answering for their whole detachment to make it spectator friendly by not putting them to sleep while all names are being read.

*1st Sergeant Report – Made up for reenacting use. Helps keep your first sergeant organized. Includes roster, gun crews, round count, and duty roster. This one is a MS Excel file. Modify it to fit your own needs.

*Ordnance Inspection – To be used to inspect the guns for an event.

*Abstract of Ordnance – Based on an original, keeps track of you ordnance expenditure.

*Morning Report – copied from an original.
