April 2004 – Purchased second hand 57 inch wagon wheels Chicago Light Artillery, Battery A
Feb 2005 – Purchased steel to make axle tree, coal box, and other small parts on the carriage.

March 2005 – completed axle.

Completed axle ends for 3 axles. One for the forge of course, one for one of the cannon owners in Taylor's Battery who is making a Limber Carriage. The last is for another artillery group for a cassion.

– Picked up about 400 lbs worth of Oak slabs curtasy of Ken M of Taylor's Battery. Thanks Ken!

July 2006 - Winter and spring have been somewhat productive. The wood department (Jason and Mike) have done a great job with the carriage body. The metal department (Steve) has been very slow however! Steve has been busy remodeling his house. Jerk.
